Currency Switcher provides an opportunity to change the currency at checkout and allow customers to pay in their selected (preferred) currency.
Also, this feature is perfect for WooCommerce shops with a shop currency not in this list:
“ARS, LP, UYU, AUD, BRL, CAD, CZK, DKK, EUR, HKD, HUF, ILS, JPY, MYR, MXN, NOK, NZD, PHP, PLN, GBP, SGD, SEK, CHF, TWD, THB, USD”,
or want to convert into a different PayPal currency to avoid conversion fees by PayPal.
So, you are able to convert any given WooCommerce shop currency to allowed PayPal currencies for PayPal’s Payment Gateway within WooCommerce on checkout.
Please note, that some payment systems could use only fixed currencies. PayPal does not support some currencies. So if the main currency, for example, is USA dollar ($) and the user select a euro (€) as a currency to pay, the transaction will be in euro as a customer required. If the customer will select a currency that PayPal does not support – in the checkout a main (default) currency will be displayed.
In order to enable this option, move to the Options tab and enable the “Change currency at checkout”.
